Welcome to Happy Hearts Early Learning Centre - Red Beach! Located at Nga Wai Lane, 6 in Red Beach, New Zealand, our establishment is a point of interest and a school that caters to babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.

At Happy Hearts, we believe that the early years are a time of discovery for children. It is a time when they explore their surroundings, discover themselves, and make choices. That's why we have created bright and purpose-built centres, staffed by highly-qualified teachers who are dedicated to providing quality education and nurturing practices.

Each child at Happy Hearts has their own separate, age-appropriate room, with their own Head Teacher, where learning is made fun through an educational focus. We understand that the early years are special, and we ensure that all children are genuinely cared for by passionate teachers who prioritize their well-being.

Our approach at Happy Hearts is child-led. We let the children guide us in their interests, and we explore those topics through various mediums such as song, music, drama, art, movement, and the natural world. Whether it's experimentation, exploration, or play, our focus and themes are always centered around what the children are interested in.

All our spaces provide opportunities for physical and imaginative play. Even on rainy days, our outside play environment includes wet-weather areas where children can engage in outdoor play and breathe fresh air. We believe that play is an essential part of a child's development, and we provide ample opportunities for them to engage in it.

For children approaching school age, our custom Transition-to-School program is a hit with both parents and children. Room 3 offers a unique program that focuses on numeracy, literacy, social skills, and preparing children for school-level expectations. This includes school visits, which helps ease the transition when they turn 5. All Happy Hearts graduates celebrate this special transition with a graduation ceremony.

To support your child's learning, we work with StoryPark, an online platform that allows us to document and share your child's progress. Through your own private StoryPark community, you can actively engage with your child's development and stay connected with their learning journey.
