If you have been keeping track of your books on a tally sheet, we kindly request you to bring it to our office, where Mrs. Baldwin will enter them for you.

Excitement filled the air on Friday, 11th August, as we welcomed Paul for the Ned's Mindset Mission incursion. NED, which stands for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best, delivered a school holiday kids show that combined fun with positive mental health strategies. Designed for primary school-aged children and their parents/carers, these one-of-a-kind shows aim to help families build resilience.

For families looking to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Axedale Primary School, we follow the enrolment timeline provided by the Department of Education (DE). This timeline guides families on when and how to enrol their child, ensuring a smooth transition into our school community.

We celebrated the confidence and courage of our Grade 6 students on Thursday, 23rd February, as they presented their School Captain speeches. It was a proud moment for all as they overcame their nerves and shared their aspirations with students, teachers, and attending parents from Grade 3 to 6.

On Tuesday, 21st March, we held our Annual General Meeting, where we elected office bearers and presented the draft Annual Report. We are pleased to inform you that the report has been reviewed by the Department of Education (DE) and is now available for your perusal.

Joining the Axedale Primary Parents, Volunteers & Friends (PVF) committee provides families with a unique opportunity to get involved, connect with other parents, and collaborate closely with our dedicated staff.

For Grade 3 to 6 students, we have an exciting camp planned. Please ensure you complete the permission and payment process by Friday, 1st September, via Compass.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming term dates in 2023. Term 2 will commence on 24th April (CURRICULUM DAY) and run until 23rd June.
