"The Cameo cinema is a lovely cinema in Belgrave. It is smaller and cheaper than the big cinema chains, with a lot more charm. I was there for their monthly live comedy nights, which are absolutely awesome. They have overseas comedians like Arj Barker as well as Australian comedians like Richard Stubbs and Claire Hooper. On the night, there is a hilarious MC as well as two supporting act comedians. I highly recommend checking their website as they do book some great people. Parking can be a pain in Belgrave. However, the Tecoma and Belgrave train stations are within walking distance."

"Nice retro theatre! They offer amazing special events, such as classical movies such as ‘The Sound Of Music’ and they had classics this year every week. This is amazing, and I’m pretty sure the big businesses don’t have events like these."

"We visited the iconic Cameo Theatre in Belgrave last weekend. An independent cinema complex offering a wide range of movies from blockbusters, latest releases, cult classics and smaller independent films. There is a Cameo Classics Retrospective calendar, promising all killer, no filler silver screen favourites and you can join their Cameo Membership Club for a nominal fee, which offers heavily discounted tickets for you and a guest, representing exceptional value for money. The theatre we attended was large, clean and the seats were comfortable and spacious. The sound was great and temperature in the cinema was perfect. There’s a bar and outdoor deck overlooking a fabulous outdoor cinema where you can watch movies under the stars whilst kicking back on the grassed lawn area and BYO four legged friends! This cinema is well worth a visit to Belgrave and caters for all audiences."
