"First time in my life I could not buy something though we are happy to pay. Came there and was advised that I need to test to make sure the tank is in-cycle. So I bought some small fishes, baceria, and a test kit. We followed their instruction and my tank was perfect for the fishes as I have already used a used filter for a week. We came back after a couple of day to buy some more fishes, but the guy who advised us last time told his work mate not to sell fishes for us, so she said we could not buy and need to wait for the tank to be in cycle. As a business owner I find that so stupid because first, even if the fishes die we would come back and buy more so that means more sales for them. And second, we can buy any where else if they don't sell to us. Worst staff, will never come back."
"Popped in today to buy a plant and investigate adding some tank mates in for my 5yo’s goldfish (Sushi & Rainbow). What an experience - staff are absolutely awesome - I learned so much more about looking after my fish. Due to the restriction that Auckland City Counsel has set. But we were overall happy with the service and decided to go to the Hamilton store.
