Conveniently situated in Western Springs, our Auckland kindergarten serves families from the surrounding suburbs of Kingsland, Ponsonby, Grey Lynn, Mt Albert, Sandringham, Mt Eden, Pt Chevalier, and Westmere. We are licensed to accommodate up to 30 children over the age of 2 and warmly welcome inquiries about enrollment availability.

At Sunbeams Private Kindergarten, we embrace the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whariki, as the foundation of our teaching and learning philosophy. Our experienced teachers are dedicated to providing excellent childcare and ensuring that your child has access to the best educational resources. We believe that children learn best through play, and our environment is carefully crafted to offer rich opportunities for learning, experimenting, and making discoveries.

As facilitators, guides, and supporters, our role is to empower children and celebrate their contributions. By giving them responsibility for their own work and supporting their efforts, we help build their self-esteem, confidence, and belief in their abilities.

Through a process of assessment, planning, evaluation, and collaboration with parents and whanau, we implement a comprehensive and relevant learning program guided by Te Whariki. Our program is specifically designed to cater to the developmental stages of children aged 2 to 6, providing a stimulating and well-resourced environment for learning across all areas of the curriculum.
