Lynfield College
About the Business
Welcome to Lynfield College, a prestigious educational institution located in Auckland, New Zealand. Situated on White Swan Road, our college is known for its commitment to inspiring students to achieve educational excellence in a rich learning and social environment.
At Lynfield College, we believe in nurturing the talents and passions of our students. That's why we are excited to announce that applications are now open for Round Two of the Lynfield College Sports or Creative Innovative Scholarship. This scholarship is available to any student who represents their chosen activity at a regional or higher level. We believe in supporting and encouraging our students to pursue their passions and excel in their chosen field.
Our Music Department has been buzzing with activity lately. Our talented music students recently participated in the Auckland Jazz and Blues Competition, as well as the KBB Music Festival. With almost 100 students and eight groups involved, these events showcased the incredible musical talent present at Lynfield College.
We are also proud to mention the achievements of Emma Wagner, Caleb Young, Tilly Wells, and Thomas Christie, who represented Lynfield College and Green Bay High in the National Final of Raise Up's New Found Sound competition. This event took place at The Tuning Fork and highlighted the exceptional musical abilities of our students.
At Lynfield College, we prioritize the wellbeing of our students. That's why we have organized an informative evening for parents, caregivers, and whanau to learn about the harms of vaping for young people. This presentation will be conducted by Sharon Pihema from the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation, ensuring that our community is well-informed and equipped to make the best choices for our students' health.
One of the highlights of Lynfield College is our comprehensive eLearning program. We understand the importance of technology in education and have integrated it seamlessly into our curriculum. From providing internet access through desktop computers or devices connected to our wireless or cabled networks to implementing blended learning practices that combine traditional and eLearning methods, we strive to provide the best and most effective ways of promoting learning.
At Lynfield College, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and creatively. Join us on this remarkable journey of educational excellence and personal growth.

"I love the school, but I will skip class on every Friday"
"As a student here myself i can say with experiance that overall the teachers are great i havent had any troubles with them the deans are very friendly the only real problem revolves around students. Overall great school."
"It’s a decent school some teachers are good PE office teachers are amazing and principal and deans are good ms prasad amazing dean but the reliever teachers and some other subject teachers too mrs green , Mr roscoe and Mr Gabbs don’t get me wrong probably good teachers to others but I do not think they’re teachers that I’m able to learn from because of how slow they are when trying to explain something and just wasting my time to be honest but I would recommend this school for new students going to college :)"
"all the people who surround me are nothing but nice to me, the time i've stayed here has been absolutely wonderful. nothing but good to say about lynfield! (i haven't been to lynfield btw)"
"Good: The science classrooms are great. Look very nice and are always clean. The field is big to play on. The teachers are very nice. Bad: The classrooms are really boring, chairs are bad quality. Desks and chairs always have gum underneath. The sports equipment are relatively old and broken items are still being used. The toilets suck, like really suck. Extremely dirty, smells bad, no toilet paper and no soap. Inappropriate drawings are sometimes on the walls. Certain students vape on school grounds. Have seen racist behaviour from the students but resolved eventually."
