Point Chevalier Kindergarten

Welcome to Point Chevalier Kindergarten, located at 90 Walmer Road in Auckland, New Zealand. Our establishment is not just a school, but a point of interest that inspires curiosity and challenges for our young learners. Our beautiful garden provides endless opportunities for active movement and exploration.

At Point Chevalier Kindergarten, we have a strong focus on sustainability and are proud to have achieved Silver Enviroschool status. We believe in teaching our students the importance of taking care of the environment and instilling in them a sense of responsibility for the world around them.

We maintain excellent links with local schools and the community, ensuring that everyone feels welcome in our inclusive environment. Our experienced teaching team is passionate about working alongside students and their families, creating a strong and supportive community.

We value and encourage children's curiosity, making our kindergarten a place where their natural sense of wonder is cherished. Our quality learning programs are based on the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whāriki. We support children in making choices and plans, allowing them to develop knowledge in areas that interest them.

Our teachers become partners in children's play, learning alongside them and providing respectful and affirming interactions. We understand that each child is a unique learner, and we strive to enhance their identity and self-confidence.

Our kindergarten operates from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Our office hours are from 8 am to 4:45 pm. We are closed during term breaks and public holidays.
