Welcome to Chelsea Primary School, located in Auckland, New Zealand! At Chelsea Primary School, we believe that every child is like a seed, full of potential and ready to grow. Just like a seed needs the right elements and a strong foundation to grow, our school focuses on creating the perfect conditions for our students to thrive. We are proud to be an establishment that is recognized as a point of interest in the community, offering primary education to children of all backgrounds.

Our school philosophy is represented by the Māori words Kākano, Pakiaka, Rito, and Māhuri. Kākano symbolizes the seed, where our tamariki find their place and begin their journey of growth. Pakiaka represents the roots, as our students start to explore and expand their horizons within the foundation we have provided. Rito signifies the beginning of new growth, as our tamariki start to seek new light and knowledge. Finally, Māhuri embodies the courage and resilience our students develop as they branch out and continue to grow independently.

We operate on a term-based system, with Term 1 running from February 7th to April 6th, Term 2 from April 24th to June 30th, Term 3 from July 17th to September 22nd, and Term 4 from October 9th to December 20th. These terms provide a structured framework for our tamariki's education, ensuring consistent learning and growth throughout the year.

Our school is conveniently located at the corner of Onetaunga Rd and Balmain Rd in Chatswood, Auckland. This prime location allows for easy access and a sense of community within our neighborhood.
