Welcome to Laidlaw College, a prestigious institution located in Auckland, New Zealand. Situated at Central Park Drive, 80, our college is not only an establishment but also a point of interest and a university. At the heart of our institution lies the Christian faith and the person of Jesus Christ, who is both God and man, creator and redeemer, and the center of our teachings.

We take pride in our world-class teaching team, comprised of brilliant scholars with years of experience. Our faculty is dedicated to helping you think through your identity and purpose. We aim to train leaders who are equipped to make a positive impact on society and the church.

Laidlaw College has been shaping leaders for church and society since 1922, accumulating over 90 years of rich experience. Our team consists of permanent staff, both full and part-time, as well as over 100 additional staff members who support the delivery of our programs throughout the academic year.

We recently celebrated our 100th Auckland Graduation ceremony, where students, faculty, staff, friends, whānau (family), and supporters gathered to honor those who have completed Laidlaw qualifications. We also proudly supported the launch of Te Wānanga Ihorangi, a new faith-based Te Reo Māori kaupapa (program) that will be offering two new Te Reo Māori Diplomas in February 2024.

At Laidlaw College, we value the cultural heritage of Aotearoa (New Zealand) and its people. Rev Dr Lyndon Drake shares his thoughts on the Gospel in Aotearoa, emphasizing the significance of the story of Jesus Christ within the context of Māori culture. As a Māori Christian, he acknowledges both the beauty and the brokenness of this story, understanding his place in the land and the Church, and the whakapapa (genealogy) from which we all come.

As we continue to grow, we are excited to announce that Laidlaw@Manukau, our learning hub in Manukau, will be relocating to Equippers College. This move will allow us to further enhance our educational offerings and provide an even better learning environment for our students.

We also want to honor the life and service of Judge Arnold Turner, CMG, who had a longstanding association with Laidlaw College. Judge Turner's personal faith in Christ was nurtured through the NZ Bible Training Institute, and we are grateful for his dedication and contributions.
