What sets Westbridge apart is that we are the only 'Ukeru' school in New Zealand. Ukeru is a philosophy that emphasizes 'Comfort' over 'Control', promoting a physical restraint-free system of support. We believe in creating a safe and secure environment where students can thrive.

Situated on extensive rural grounds in Massey, West Auckland, our school provides 24-hour care, seven days a week. This ensures that our students receive the support they need at any time. During their enrollment, which typically lasts between 12 to 18 months, we also offer assistance and guidance to their families and whanau, encouraging positive changes for all.

We continually review our systems and programs to ensure that we are providing the best possible education and support. Our success rate speaks for itself, with over 90% of our students remaining engaged in education up to two years after graduating from Westbridge.
