Our team at HVV consists of Dr. Garry, Jenny, Nerys, and Sue. Together, we bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to provide the highest quality veterinary care. In addition to our veterinary services, we also offer a dedicated cat boarding service at Henderson Valley Cattery. While you enjoy your holiday, we will take care of your furry family members, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

"Im happy with our visit. Good honest advice looking to fix the problem from the core, not just throwing meds at your animals. Great service too."
"I went to this vet for my small dog who had broken her nail and needed to be sorted ASAP. All I can say... condescending ... poor quality care and just plain disgusting. I’ve never come across such a horrible person in my life who spoke to me as if I was stupid. And then treated my poor dog in a rough manner. For reference my dog is a small Bichon x Maltese and rhe sweetest soul... but they muzzled her up and treated her like a stray. And then... when I was crying due to the stress and seeing my dog in pain... was told to stop crying by the vet. We will never come back. And I honestly hope this business closes its doors and people stop coming here. There’s so many amazing vets out there ! Our pets deserve better."
"So close and always happy to give advice. Very thorough checks on my old girl."
"Very rude and condescending service to be honest. Would be nice if they were more welcoming."
"Really disappointed with my experience here. I've had 3 visits with my cats. The 2nd was lovely with a different Vet to the usual. However the 1st and 3rd with Dr Gary were identical in experience. His instructions were very different to the other vets, which left me feeling like this was punatively intended advice and resulted in no trust in this and sought a 3rd opinion. I was in tears after both, after being treated as if I was a bad pet mum; due to being condescended to, treated like a naughty child and told perhaps I should get rid of some of my animals (2 of which are rescues), after explaining why I could not afford top end cat food etc. I was confused, as to when owning cats became something that is now reserved for the privileged, not accessible to the socioeconomicly disadvantaged (these days now the majority.) I've owned cats for over 25 yrs and never been treated so rudely at a vet clinic. When I asked for a collar I commented immediately it was too big and was ignored. No checking to see if it was appropriately sized. My cat couldn't even walk with it on as it was massive! The second one I got after driving back in, is still not the right size. I saw another client return a collar, saying her dog couldnt even lift his head up with it on!! and treated quite rudely. As a successful business owner for many years I would never treat paying clients in this manner. When I asked if they had a system for feedback I was told to use Google reviews. I still verbalised my experience as I believe all feedback is an opportunity for reflection and improvement. I will not be returning to this clinic as being able to suspend moralising superiority, and being able to compassionately listen, offering personalised advice, sensitivity and respect are important parts of being in a caring professional."
