Welcome to Orewa Mutt Groomers, where your furry friends will receive exceptional service in a safe and professional environment. Located on the beautiful estuary in Orewa, on the Hibiscus Coast Highway, our establishment is dedicated to providing top-quality grooming services for all breeds of dogs.
Our full groom package includes a thorough wash, drying, coat treatment, face grooming, nail trimming, and sanitary care. Prices for this package start at $70 for puppies, $77 for small breeds, $85 for medium-sized breeds, $88 for Cavoodles and Poodles, and $90 for Labradoodles weighing between 5 and 10kg. Labradoodles weighing between 11 and 20kg will be charged $115. Please note that if your pet's coat is matted, additional time and a $10 fee will be required.
For those who only require a wash and dry, face grooming, nail trimming, and sanitary care, our basic grooming package is perfect. Prices for this package start at $65 for small breeds and $70 for medium breeds. Please note that a $10 matting fee will be charged if applicable.
We also offer nail clipping services for $10, and for puppies and dematting, a consultation is required to ensure the best care for your furry friend.

"Horrible customer service, showed up at the time I booked and the lady yelled at me from inside the store saying “sorry too late.” Didn’t even walk out and say it nicely, apparently she moved the time last minute, and was very rude to me because I didn’t realise. Finally she took my dog inside for a groom and after I thought everything was fine until I got home and after awhile blood was all over my white carpet. Checked my dogs paws and she had cut the nails too short so they started bleeding everywhere, called in and they blamed it on their ‘new assistant helper’ who was in a rush. Absolutely no excuse and will not be going back."

If these were discussed up front it would go a long way, instead of simply insisting ‘that’s just the way it is.’ I’m genuinely surprised by the way this has been handled as it could really have been avoided with clear and friendly communication…price is not so much the issue as the way it has been managed.
