Welcome to Shine Bright White Hills Kindergarten! Located at 62 Raglan Street in White Hills, Australia, our establishment is a point of interest and a school that offers a unique educational experience for children aged 3 and 4 years old.

At Shine Bright White Hills Kindergarten, we believe that play is central to a child's learning. Through play, children develop a positive disposition towards learning and lay the foundation for future academic success. Our dedicated team of educators, including Angela, Caitlin, Gaya, Jan Madeline, Nicky, and Simone, are committed to providing a stimulating and enjoyable play-based program.

We understand that each child is a unique individual who progresses through developmental stages at their own pace. To accommodate this, we schedule large blocks of uninterrupted time for engagement in experiences, allowing children to refine their skills, deepen their understanding, and build confidence in their abilities.

Our kindergarten also recognizes the importance of the natural environment in children's learning. We have enhanced our outdoor space to support children's inherent curiosity about nature and the environment.

We value the partnership between families and educators in enhancing children's learning and development. Parent involvement is highly valued, not only in supporting their child's learning but also in contributing to the overall functioning of the kindergarten through committee membership, fundraising, and sharing cultural knowledge.

Community plays a vital role in shaping children's identity and well-being. At Shine Bright White Hills Kindergarten, we celebrate the diverse cultures of our growing community and acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community as well as the traditional owners of the land, the DJa Dja Wurrung people.

As educators, we aim to promote the holistic development of each child, guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework. Our approach incorporates Vygotsky's concept of scaffolding to support children's learning and development, as well as Montessori principles to foster essential skills for life.

Shine Bright White Hills Kindergarten is part of Shine Bright Early Years Management, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of children and families. With 36 kindergartens across Central and Northern Victoria, we are committed to providing quality early childhood education.
