At Bendigo Tech School, we believe in the power of design thinking to effect professional practice change in the classroom and school environment. One of our ongoing projects involves using technology to track Mini, a beloved member of our community. We have implemented clever code and an external weather service to change the video on our webpage depending on the weather and time of day.

As technology enthusiasts, we understand the importance of finding solutions to everyday problems. For instance, we have used tech to help us with our watering habits and integrating our coffee machine with Bendigo Tech School.

Our primary focus is on providing students with the vital skills of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) that they will need in the 21st century. Through coding, mechanical systems, and engineering design, students tackle a variety of emergency missions using high-tech ground and air robots. They also explore current issues such as food packaging and renewable energy, using technology to prototype and test their own solutions.

In addition, students have the opportunity to work with professional video and audio equipment, learn about virtual reality, create generative artworks, and much more. We also offer programs specifically designed for VCE students, such as cyber security and machine learning.
