About the Business
Welcome to Jingili Skate Park, located in the vibrant city of Darwin, Australia. Nestled within the beautiful Jingili Water Gardens, our establishment is an open and free-to-access facility that caters to skateboarders, scooters, rollerskaters, and BMX riders of all ages and skill levels.
Completely redeveloped in 2015, our Skate Park was designed in close collaboration with the skating community to provide an exhilarating experience for both novices and intermediate riders. With a variety of elements carefully crafted to challenge and entertain, you'll find endless opportunities to showcase your skills and push your limits.
As the sun sets, the Skate Park comes alive with the automatic lighting system that illuminates the entire area. For those who wish to extend their session, simply press the green button located on the light pole to your left while sitting in the shelter facing the park. This will keep the lights on for an additional hour of fun-filled riding.
One of the best things about our Skate Park is that it can be enjoyed free of charge for informal use. There's no need to make any bookings, simply come along and make the most of this fantastic facility at your convenience.
In addition to the regular use of the Skate Park, the City of Darwin offers a range of exciting skate programming. Skate Nights, Street Heat, International Women's Day Skate, and more can be found at LAUNCH Skate, where you can join in on organized events and connect with fellow skating enthusiasts.
We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Larrakia people, the Traditional Owners of the land and waterways now known as Darwin. We value and appreciate their ongoing contribution and recognize the importance of preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage of our city. Furthermore, we extend our respect and acknowledgment to all of Australia's First Peoples as the Traditional Owners of lands and waterways across the country, and we encourage reconciliation and unity among all.
At Jingili Skate Park, we celebrate diversity and the contributions made by people of diverse backgrounds and cultures to the vibrant tapestry of Darwin. We invite you to join us at our facility and experience the thrill of skateboarding, scootering, rollerskating, and BMX riding in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Reviews
"Nice place"
"it's terrible most things there don't make sense and so bad to get to very disappointed I've been to Elliot skatepark and that's better than this"
"Wish there was a bigger variety of ramps and more shade during the day but the park is generally kept pretty clean, is well lit at night, fresh paint every now and then by local artists. The best time to go is morning, evening and night since there is no shade on the ramps however I would always go with a mate after dark because there can be some antisocial behaviour in the area."
"Small but fun"
"Gotta love this skatepark, the smooth way this plaza like park flows is great. Some small quarterpipes and rails and ledges make this a well rounded skatepark that allows skaters from all areas to ride happily. This plaza does more cater to the needs of street skaters as most of the ramps are more mellow and the amount of ledges and rails heavily outweighs the ramps."
