Welcome to the Palmerston Recreation Centre, located at 11 The Boulevard in Palmerston City, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to placing people at the center of everything we do.

At the Palmerston Recreation Centre, we strive to provide a wide range of facilities and programs that cater to the needs and interests of our community. We believe in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can swim, exercise, and meet new people.

Our commitment to community engagement is evident through our various plans and reports. We encourage you to read our Community Plan, Municipal Plan 2023/24, Palmerston Local Economic Plan, and Annual Report 2021/2022 to learn more about our vision for the future.

We also value your input and feedback. Currently, we are seeking feedback on the proposed redevelopment of the Driver Community Centre. You can share your thoughts on the draft designs from 14th August for 8 weeks. Your input will help shape the future of this important community facility.

In addition to community engagement, we are dedicated to the safety and well-being of our residents. The City of Palmerston's annual hard waste collection and Pre-Cyclone Clean-Up initiatives are designed to help you declutter your yard and prepare for the cyclone and storm season.

We are also excited to announce the opening of Hobart Park's Ninja Obstacle Course, a project that showcases our commitment to innovation and providing new recreational opportunities for the community.

Throughout the year, we organize various events and festivals to bring the community together. The Palmerston Youth Festival and the recreational catch and release barramundi competition are just a few examples of our efforts to embrace the Top End's unique lifestyle and celebrate our community's talents and interests.

We also understand the importance of quality family time and offer activities such as free movie nights under the stars and Children's Week celebrations.

Our operating hours are as follows: Monday to Thursday: 9am-6pm, Friday: 10am-8pm, Saturday: 10am-1pm, Sunday: 1pm-4pm. Please note that we are closed on public holidays.
