Welcome to Mad Wheels Youth, located at 31 Thistle Street West, South Launceston, Australia. We are an establishment and point of interest that aims to make a difference in our community through the power of wheels.

Our journey began in 2004 when we received $100 each as seed money to support various ministry startup ideas that would expand the vision and mission of God through the people of Door of Hope. One of these ideas was to repair donated cars and pass them on to people in need, thus giving birth to Madwheels. Our name perfectly encapsulates our mission to "Make a Difference (with) Wheels".

For the past 18 years, we have been operating from our fully equipped workshop within the Door of Hope facility. During this time, we have donated over 170 vehicles to individuals and families who require assistance. However, our mission goes beyond simply giving people a handout. We believe in providing a hand up, offering help and hope to others in our community.

In line with this vision, we have also established Madwheels Youth, which has been successfully operating for over 11 years. We are immensely proud of the positive impact it has had on the lives of young people in our area. Our goal is to collaborate with schools and parents to provide support for students who may be struggling with the demands of school life. We celebrate their successes and strive to help them reach their full potential.

None of this would be possible without the support of our generous donors. Donated vehicles allow us to continue our operations, while local businesses contribute by assisting us in repairing and refurbishing these vehicles. However, the true lifeblood of our organization lies in our dedicated volunteers. They are an essential and positive force, and we are grateful for their contribution.

We are always in need of more donated vehicles and volunteers who share our passion for helping others. Our Madwheels workshop offers a positive, fun, sharing, learning, and contributing environment. We firmly believe that when people work together, great things can happen.
