Welcome to Exeter Child Care Centre, a community-based, not-for-profit establishment located in the picturesque West Tamar region of Australia. Since 1992, we have been providing exceptional care and education for children aged 0-12 years.

Our Long Day Care program operates five days a week, offering full-day care for children aged 0-5. Additionally, we provide Out of School Hours Care, including before and after school care, for children aged 5-12. During school holidays, we offer a stimulating Vacation Care program to keep children engaged and entertained.

At Exeter Child Care Centre, we understand the importance of age-appropriate learning environments. That's why we have four specialty rooms designed to cater to the unique needs of different age groups. The Playroom is dedicated to infants and toddlers aged 0-2, while the Harmony Room is perfect for children aged 2-3. Our Early Learning Room focuses on children aged 3-5, nurturing their cognitive and social development. For school-age children, we have the exciting Rumpus Room where they can engage in activities tailored to their interests.

As a Lunchbox Centre, we encourage parents to provide packed lunches and snacks for their children, along with drink bottles, hats, nappies, and wipes. Our qualified and experienced educators create a nurturing environment that combines structured and unstructured play to foster essential skills in young minds. Your child's well-being, health, safety, and learning are our utmost priorities.

We take pride in our large outdoor play spaces, where we encourage adventurous play that challenges children both physically and mentally. It is through these experiences that children develop resilience, confidence, and a love for exploration.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who participated in and donated to our recent Daffodil fundraiser, where we raised a total of $190. Your support helps us enhance the learning experiences we provide to our children.

Please note that as of Friday, 24 June 2022, face masks are no longer mandatory in our Child Care Services, as advised by Public Health. However, we kindly request that you consider wearing one if you or your child have cold or flu symptoms, in order to prioritize the health and safety of our community.
