"This is specifically not Mandurah SKG's fault but a system failure. I had a CT lumbar spine at Mandurah a fortnight ago. To date it has not been reported. I phoned yesterday and was told that it would be prioritised for today. A day later - today, it has not been reported and it wasn't prioritised yesterday either. I was told hours ago that it would be prioritised today - not yet and only one hour until end of day! I used to work for SKG. I know how the cases are prioritised by colour shading for typing. This is not good enough. Mandurah SKG themselves were pleasant, efficient but I write this so that Simon (boss) can show Head Office how the system is letting the branches down. Readers of these reviews - go elsewhere."
"I'm claustrophobic. I never thought I'd be able to have an MRI. The staff in the MRI unit, Lorraine in particular, put me at ease, relaxed me, and talked me through it. Thank you so much. Reception staff were very helpful."
"Pleasant reception girl when booking over the phone, through to reception lady when arriving, and the staff performing both ultrasound and CT Scan were warm, friendly and receptive. Helped put my nerves at ease with it all and explained everything well as we went along."
"I cannot praise ths staff at Mandurah SKG enough! I attended with my non verbal autistic son for an ultrasound and x-ray. Normally he has all imaging done under general anaesthetic but this couldn't be the case this time. I went in thinking we will give it a try but probably won't be successful. Thanks to the patience, friendliness and skill of the staff we managed to do both the US and x-ray without an issue. My son was so comfortable. Thank you so much!"
"Normally nice staff, and efficient service. Last visit however proved differently. Computers were down for a day and there was no back-up system provided, which I found a bit odd in this day and age. A little inconvenient being that I use public transport and it was a hot day. But the polite staffer took down instructions as to what I needed to have done and it was ready the following day, despite the lack of a promised phone call of such notification. Additionally a staff member was slightly short and surly with me the next day when I went to pick up the requested item."
