Reviews
"Hamburger was below average. Both tomato and lettuce combined didn't even cover the bottom of the bun. Bun wasn't fresh or nice. Look elsewhere, I will be"
"Very tasty barra and a huuuuge portion of fries. The spices in the butter give the fish an interesting touch. I especially liked the pineapple fritter and the friendly service."
"Absolutely awful. Flake was so tough I could barely pull it apart with my hands - INEDIBLE - and unbelievable for $11!!! Chips were soggy by the time we arrived home. Calamari was processed. Do yourself a favour… go elsewhere."
"If you are a connoisseur of old style fish and chip shops with a late 70s early 80s decor, then Alawa Fish & Chips is your kind of place. I had the fish which was snapper and chips. It was fine, but the batter was not fully cooked through. It needed a couple of more minutes in the deep fryer. Price was cheap for Darwin however. Good for the budget conscious. Will try again."
"Good place, visited earlier this afternoon for the first time to get some fish and chips. Price was reasonable, taste good, glad to have a chat with Anthony. Very friendly guy, loves chatting to customers, friendly attitude. Overall I’m satisfied. Have been seeing the sign for the last couple of years, didn’t get chance to visit. Bought fish and chips with chicken nuggets- my children loved them. Will definitely go back again soon. All the best Anthony :)"
