"As Vets they are capable of doing what Vets are trained to do. I found the staff to be distant, aloof and made no connection with my pet. My experience with his current Vets is they cannot make myself and my pet more welcome, at ease and appreciated. Something that I didn't receive at 4Paws. My feedback would be a review from management targeting people skills and communication skills. Also a review on how owners and pets can be made to feel during their visit. I pay a lot of money to ensure my pets ongoing wellbeing, a little something back in return would have been appreciated"
"My daughter took her dog to this vet clinic today and saw Sam. Sam wanted her to have an X-ray done on the dog that has a sore foot. Cost was quoted over $400. Because she advised Sam that she could not afford to have this done she was belittled and told she that she was not taking care of her dog and made the statement that the dog was poorly. This was done in a passive aggressive manner. This upset us as we treat our dogs as part of the family. My daughter left this practice in tears. She did not explain to her any options to pay for it to be done and Sam was not forthcoming with treatment options except to crate the dog. If this is the way Sam treats her clients it is very unprofessional and I would not recommend Sam or this practice. 13/09/21"
