Reviews of Somerset Park Campground
"Accidentally booked this park on line from 30/8-2/9, realised it was the wrong park and immediately tried to cancel. An immediate deduction for the booking very poor to be told that it’s a 2 week wait for refund less a $25 administration fee. Certainly won’t be offering any form of recommendation."
"Nice location with good camp sites. Generally the whole place has a feeling of being unloved. Unfortunately amenities block although functional is old and desperately in need of upgrade. No evidence of any cleaning of amenities over the four nights we camped. Better places in the locality."
"Loved our 4 day stay. Very quiet and relaxing environment. Lots of wildlife and you can do as much or as little as you want. Kayak, fish, walk, bike ride, sit and watch the world go by. Great views. Our caravan site was a bit uneven and lacked some grass but other then that we absolutely loved our stay here."
"Got to our camping spot and we were basically touching the other campsites and you didn't get to choose where you got to camp, you couldn't see the water from the campsite. This place wasn't for me after spending almost $80 when down the road spending an extra $20 you can get a view of the entire dam and you can go anywhere to set up your camp on that property."
"Pretty views, friendly staff... but disgusting bathrooms! We paid a small fortune to camp over Easter and the toilets were always dirty. Over flowing bins, stinky showers full of thick slime, and never once did we see someone clean the bathroom with cleanings products. It always stank of sewerage and I longed for the smell of cleaning products. Campers are packed on top of eachother too. Much better places to stay for cheaper prices."
