Welcome to Indie School Sorell, a renowned establishment and point of interest located at 35-37 Gordon Street in the beautiful town of Sorell, Australia. Our independent flexible learning school has been providing exceptional education since March 2022 when we first opened our doors to four students. Fast forward to June 2023, and we are proud to announce that we now have nearly 90 students enrolled across years 9 to 12.

At Indie School Sorell, we believe in offering a unique and personalized learning experience to each of our students. Our dedicated team of experienced educators and staff are committed to nurturing the individual talents, interests, and aspirations of every student. We understand that traditional schooling may not suit everyone, and that's why we provide an alternative educational approach that caters to the specific needs and learning styles of our students.

In addition to our Sorell campus, Indie School also operates in Glenorchy and Kingston. In the coming years, these campuses, along with Sorell, will be embarking on an exciting 6 Week Term Program in both 2023 and 2024. This program will further enhance the educational opportunities available to our students, offering them a chance to explore new subjects, engage in hands-on learning experiences, and broaden their horizons.

One of the highlights of our curriculum is the VET (Vocational Education and Training) in Schools program. This unique initiative allows our secondary students to develop practical skills in specific industries while working towards their high school certificate. Our VET programs, which have been successfully delivered for over a decade, provide students with the opportunity to earn a qualification or partial completion of a nationally recognized certificate. Taught by industry-experienced practitioners, these programs equip our students with invaluable skills and knowledge that will benefit them in their future careers.
