About the Business
Welcome to Cricket Tasmania, located at 15 Derwent Street in Bellerive, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to be a part of the rich cricketing history and culture in this beautiful country.
At Cricket Tasmania, we believe in honoring and acknowledging the Traditional custodians of the land on which we stand. We respectfully pay our respects to the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation, and we hold deep respect for their Elders, both past and present.
One of the highlights of our institution is the stunning artwork called "Walkabout Wickets," created by renowned Kirrae Whurrong artist Fiona Clarke. This masterpiece represents not only the cricket stars of the past, present, and future but also the significant meeting places where they play. Aunty Fiona, as she is affectionately known, is a direct descendant of James 'Mosquito' Couzens and his brother Jonny Couzens, who were members of the first Australian cricket team to tour England in 1868.
Cricket Tasmania is not just a place where the sport is celebrated; it is a hub of passion, skill, and camaraderie. Our institution fosters a welcoming environment for cricket enthusiasts, players, and fans alike. Whether you are a seasoned cricketer looking to refine your skills or a spectator eager to experience the excitement of the game, Cricket Tasmania has something for everyone.
Join us at Cricket Tasmania, where the spirit of cricket is alive and thriving. Experience the thrill of the game, immerse yourself in the rich history of Australian cricket, and be a part of the legacy that continues to shape the sport in this great nation.

Reviews
"Really enjoyed our night at the cricket, a real treat."
"Nice"
"A bit more space would be good and somewhere to have a smoke"
"The venue is best known as the home ground for the state cricket teams, the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes, as well as a venue for international Test matches since 1989 and one-day matches since 1988. It is also the secondary home ground for AFL club North Melbourne, who play three home games a season at the venue. The stadium has undergone significant redevelopment to accommodate such events."
