"Had my dog in emergency , at another clinic, discharged and diagnosed (incorrectly) with a heart problem. These guys investigated it, corrected fluids and made a call with very little info. Good experienced vets that look at more than a chart. Saved the dogs life."
"I have been going here for about 3 years now. Although you will often see a different vet as their consult roster has many different vets working, every vet I have ever had work with my pet has been amazing. You can really feel that the vet staff and vet nurses are putting all their energy into working as hard they can to keep this busy clinic running well. I have so much respect for the staff here at AWL Daisy Hill. My cat was recently diagnosed with megacolon and after taking him to a few other local small practice clinics, no one could tell me about the drug cisipride that is used to treat metal colon. Apparently this is not a commonly used drug and not many vets seem to know about it. But! Every vet at AWL that I have ever had work with my pet has known about this medication and how to use it with my cat which I am so grateful for. Big thanks specifically to Dr Calvin, Dr Fred and Dr Annie (from GC) who have worked with my cat before when he’s been in an emergency situation due to megacolon. Also much respect for the nurse and reception team and the head nurse; you guys are amazing!!"
"Receptionist staff are awfully rude. We took our very sick dog to this vet after being in emergency vet over night and as soon as we arrived all them seem to care was how we are paying for treatment before we even received any information on what happened plan we had for treatment. We got a few call from a rude lady who was supposedly caring for our dog and she sounded like she had no care for the health of our pet and seemed to just push for unnecessary treatments and tests. After a couple of hours we got another rude call to say our dog only had a very short time to live and we may but even make it to see her pass. No care for our dying pet put us in very distressed state. Once we arrived again to the very rude and unprofessional receptionist who asked us about money yet again before seeing our dying dog. Once my Husband handed over cash they allowed us to go and spend time with our dog before she passed away. I will say the staff who helped see our beloved dogs pass away were very caring and helpful and we did receive our girl back in a very lovely bag with her collar and flower attached. But I will definitely never recommend this place to anyone who cares for their pets. They need some new staff front and back of house!"
"This clinic is an excellent choice for pet owners looking for high-quality care for their furry friends. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and attentive to the needs of both pets and their owners. However, special thanks and appreciation go to Stefania, who stands out as an exceptionally helpful, friendly, and professional member of the team. Her commitment to ensuring the comfort and well-being of the pets in her care is evident in everything she does. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic and would like to give a big shoutout to Stefania for her outstanding service!"
