Reviews
"I have been here many times and their palmies on Thursdays are exceptional value with a large beer. Fantastic value, would recommend this venue and outlook over the river. Well done."
"Terrible...ordered the risotto only to find 2/3 of the advertised ingredients missing! The chef had run out of asparagus but the waitress hadn't bothered to tell us when ordering..."
"Went as guests of members, very enjoyable. Excellent calamari for entree and smoked duck risotto for main. Food well presented, well priced. Wine by the bottle, Footbolt shiraz was also good value.Cromy champagne by glass a nice touch. Friendly staff and a great location made for a great night out."
"many people fishing in here, quite and nice"
"The food is excellent. A family of two adults and two kids, we all had seafood: linguine, seafood platter, seafood basket, house batter. Fresh and sensitivity cooked and plated with crisp sides. Generous portions. Pleasantly low prices. Staff delightful. Great Tassie wines. Charming Irish manager Tom. Oh, and fabulous water views. Memorable night. Not what one always get from most yacht clubs. So glad I tripped over place. Lovely walk through quiet streets off Sandy Bay Road. You’d pay a king’s ransom for this in other capital cities."
