"New Manager Toby seated us and was very attentive. Great customer service given by all Staff members. Food was quick. We had a burger and Schnitzel with fries and salad. Wines on offer are great as mostly Tassie which is a preference to support local. Listened to lice music which is nice and at a nice level so you could still hold a conversation without having to yell. Keep up the good work Toby and as long as you are supporting your staff to be good customer service personnel I can't see that you won't succeed. Great venue"
"Not too bad for a Pier late lunch one Saturday afternoon Overall rating 7.8/10 Service was decent Mussels cooked sauce flavour is yummy Pork chop is ok Ink pasta with seafood is ok"
"We were seated pretty fast. Our food orders were taken pretty fast, unfortunately after that, not so good, there didn't seem to be a system to when the orders were taken and when food came out. Three of us arrived and ordered around 6pm ,which is when our booking was, sadly it took several.hours before our food came out ,as someone with special dietary needs ,I need to eat well before 8.30pm at night. My main meal.was served to me around 8.30pm,there was no reason it could have been cooked and served to me by 7.30pm at the latest,as mentioned ,myself and two others were there at 6pm and ordered,I stated I would like my main to come out with my entree. We had all our orders after that come out later, including a couple of children's meals that we were assured several times by wait staff, were on their way . The only saving grace was my main meal was delicious and worth the 2 and half hour wait. Do consider your service tactics ,because ours was not good, regardless of size of the group,We couldn't see how the waitstaff could tell whose order belonged to who without us having numbers in front of us or between each couple seated. Was pretty chaotic."
"Really nice dinner but let down by the desserts. The starters and mains were delicious and fresh. Can reccomend the walnut pesto oyster! Was definitely disappointed by the quality of desserts in comparison to the rest of the meal. The pavlova with "seasonal fruits" had one strawberry cut up and the chocolate tart seemed pre plated and a bit dried out. They both tasted yum but could be improved. We did enjoy some cocktails too and this would be a great place for an afternoon cocktail and oysters. The staff were also super friendly and professional."
