Welcome to St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, located in Bridgewater, Australia. Situated approximately 20km north of Hobart in the outer suburbs, our school serves families in the Brighton area and beyond. At St Paul’s, we embrace the core values and mission of the school, which are deeply rooted in the Gospel Values. Established in 1984, St Paul’s Catholic School was founded by the Sisters of Mercy and Christian Brothers, two esteemed orders dedicated to providing a high-quality education. Our school caters to students from Kindergarten to Grade 6, with a current enrollment of approximately 200 students. Here, we believe in providing an educational foundation that nurtures the holistic development of each individual, intellectually, spiritually, physically, morally, and emotionally.

One of the highlights of our school is the expansive grounds that offer ample space for students to engage in play and build positive relationships. We encourage outdoor activities and provide facilities such as an excellent bike track, construction area, gardens, a 'creek bed,' and spaces for building cubby houses. Our large sand pit and oval also serve as spaces for team sports and physical activities.

St Paul’s Catholic School is situated on the traditional lands of the Mumirimina people of the Oyster Bay Nation. We acknowledge and respect the Palawa people, recognizing their deep connection to Country and Culture. We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community and honor the Elders, both past and present. As a school, we are committed to learning as a part of this community and supporting the continued sharing of knowledge and Culture.
