"When we visited the store we were not even welcomed or asked if we needed help. Since I have looked at the reviews now it could be similar case of racism that other reviewers has mentioned. I purchased a pair of shoes from this store and we said No for the box as it was going to rubbish anyway. Upon coming home the next day the shoes was big in size and we called to change the size. When I called and wanted to find out what could be done to change the size, I spoke with Georgia who said she was the store manager. She was very rude, when I explained her what happened, she said that Brinkley would not have missed mentioned that because she is assistant manager. The assistant store manager Brinkley did not inform us about the policy that if we don’t have the box we cannot change the size or return the item. I told her very clearly that she didnot mention it to us but she said that we should have asked her. I asked her how can I ask her about something that I don’t know about ? How would I know about their policy ? They should be the one to tell us. The store manager didn’t even apologised for not mentioning the return and exchange policy rather told me what it’s in the receipt and we should have checked. She didnot even try to help. Isn’t it the responsibility of the store sales person to inform us about the policy when we said No for the box ? It was clear that we didn’t know about the policy when we said No for the box. We purchased the item at 5.25pm which was 5mins before the closing time. So I guess the manager was in rush to close the store. I can see why there are so many negative reviews and racism reviews because the store manager the top tier herself is rude and she allows or doesn’t care about the customers and how they treat the customer because she herself doesn’t know it."

"The worst customer service I’ve ever seen! The manager, she is ridiculously rude when talking to customers who have proof of purchase and card. A manager who doesn’t know that when you using your card via phone wallet it’s going to have a different card number in the receipt, and refuses giving you a refund even when you shows your bank statement, shows how bad is hers customer service. I've bought in several Platypus stores, but I've never been mistreated before. if you can choose, go to another store."

"Our first time in the store and we recieved excellent service, husband was not sure on what he wanted, and the staff member was very knowledgeable in the shoes she sells, even steering him onto the shoes on sale rather than the full price shoes. In the end we purchased 2 pairs upon her recommendations. Very happy and fun shopping experience. Thank you Georgia (I hope that was you as i didn't catch your name and took this name off the reciept)"
