"If I could give this store no stars I would. I always shop at sketchers Wollongong for myself and would always give them 5 stars out of 5 but not this store and not this shop assistant. I took my disabled mother to buy the slip on sketchers as she finds it difficult to bend down to put on shoes. Thinking these would be great for her we asked the blonde assistant for two sizes Mums could to try on. Either 7 or 8. She came back and handed them to me as I said again, they are for my mum, pointing where she was sitting. She handed mum the box not acknowledging her at all and she’s me if she wanted a sock. ‘Yes please’ , she handed me the sock where for the third time I said they are for my mum. She stretched handing her the sock like she was passing a wet hanky and didn’t acknowledge her again. My mum looked at me almost in tears as the lady looked on from the desk ‘ I can’t do it.’ I looked at the assistant shook that she wouldn’t help my mum try on shoes and give her assistance on the size she should choose. ‘It’s ok mum, I’ll do the lady’s job for her. I helped her with the sock and then the shoe. Not having the other one, looking around for the assistant she had disappeared. I stepped over to the desk and had to sift through the boxes to find the matching shoe. The male assistant did ask me if I needed help, ‘no, it’s ok. I’ll just do her job for her.’ No one helped us. I put on the other sock and shoe for my mum, and asked her to walk around a bit. Feeling for her big two took a guess this was the right size. I waited at the desk after taking the shoes and socks off waiting for her return. ‘We’ll take these please.’ She put the shoes in the bag and handed them to me. No ‘sorry we were busy’ no ‘how did that size go, do you want to try on another’ no ‘Thankyou for shopping with us’ no ‘have a nice day’ nothing. I apologised to my mum as we walked out, for the assistant who didn’t acknowledge her and who made her feel uncomfortable. I’m so glad I went with her. Because I know 100% if she went in there on her own she wouldn’t of got the shoes she needed. Will never be shopping in this store again."

"Male staff member was fantastic.. Bought 2 pair of light up shoes for my grandson.. The store was super buzy on a Saturday and top marks to the staff member who helped me and my grandson"

"Best wide fitting shoes, so comfortable for flat feet. Bought the blue on Black Weekend. No Taupe in stock and was not allowed to order in store so cost me $10 for delivery to my home. Why not pay up front and deliver to store.. Really annoying."
