Welcome to Olive Counselling, located in the vibrant city of Toronto, Australia. Our founder, Katrina, brings over 15 years of experience working with families, adults, and children, making Olive Counselling a trusted institution in the field of mental health.

Katrina holds a Bachelor of Social Work and is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers. She is also an approved Victims Services Counsellor, demonstrating her commitment to providing support to those who have experienced trauma.

At Olive Counselling, we believe in utilizing a range of therapeutic approaches to best meet the needs of our clients. Katrina has completed training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), both evidence-based techniques that have shown great success in treating various mental health conditions. In addition, Katrina is an approved facilitator for the Circle of Security Program, which focuses on strengthening parent-child relationships. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques are also incorporated into her practice, ensuring a holistic approach to healing and growth.

Katrina's extensive skill set includes supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, such as sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as providing guidance through grief and loss, including child bereavement. She is experienced in working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety (including post-natal), and parenting struggles.
