"Delicious food, abysmal service. Allow me to elaborate dramatically. A few days ago, I ordered breakfast from Smogue through Uber Eats. Following a TWO HOUR wait, numerous unsuccessful phone calls and a complete lack of updates, notifications and communication, I had no choice but to cancel my order. Upon said cancellation, I was met with the unpleasant and unforeseen surprise of the restaurant being closed for God knows how long. If the lack of initiative to attempt to contact me about the sudden closure of the restaurant wasn't negligent enough, no one had the thought to cancel my order and save me hours of famine, and the possibility of some compensation from Uber's end. No, instead I was the one who had to take it upon myself to cancel my order and in turn, received nothing for my troubles (due to Uber's poor excuse for customer support). "Oh but Lycette, why would a cafe be closed at 9am on a Thursday? They've obviously just closed their store on the Uber tablet for whatever reason. Why not just call them? Even, call Uber Eats themselves to assist you.". A perfectly valid question, valued Google review reader. As a surviving veteran of the taxing and demoralizing industry of fast food and food service, I can understand turning off the Uber tablet to make a busy rush slightly more bearable, I've done this more times than I'd like to admit. But if you won't have the courtesy to cancel my overpriced order before you do so, at LEAST have a working phone number attached to your business profile in which I can call to take matters into my own hands so that I'm not forced to spend my time writing a strongly worded, dramatic, passionate Google review for your cafe. Additionally, the only assistance Uber provided was the following advice: "Please call the restaurant". Great. Thanks. I hope I have successfully conveyed the image of the war and famine I had to endure on Thursday morning through my emotional narrative. The simple message I am trying to promote is that communication is the key to happiness and success, and overpriced breakfast burgers can make a hungry, poor man resort to drastic measures. Food is delectable though. I may attempt order again..."

"Over priced and undersized, took over an hour to get my food. Eggs Benedict the yolk was completely cooked through it, avocado was hard as a rock and mango thick shake was $7 and half the size of my hand"

"Decided to try this place as there were a few good reviews and didn't dissapoint. Really quiet area with lovely sunshine and outdoor area. Great food and service too. Came as 3 adults and 2 kids and were very accommodating offering blankets etc. Has a good playground next to it too. Will be back."
