"The room was quite nice. However when the guests in the rooms either side were turned on they screamed loudly. The final straw was after being quoted a room rate of $185, when our credit card statement arrived we were charged $209. Very rude I rang and asked why but could not answer, said they would refund but had to make a second call to get the refund processed."
"Stayed for a weekend. Was met with a beautiful old grand looking building. Unfortunately was not impressed with the quality of the room with what we paid for a night. Family suite was old and outdated. Carpet was stained, bathroom was old and shower was spurting water in every direction. Shower curtain was mouldy & stained. Very small area for a family suite. Gym was fantastic, but really no other facilities apart from a spa which was too costly to use. Staff were friendly, & beds were comfy."
"The room, especially the bathroom, were so cold and even aircon didn‘t help. Also the shower drain was very dirty. However, the gym is really nice and well equipped!"
"It's a bit dated. The heater in the room was preset not to go over 15 degrees Celsius, which kind of sucked, as it was minus 3 degrees outside at night. The room was clean, and the king-sized bed and pillows were comfortable."
"We have stayed here many times and it's always been good. Last weekend we encountered a guest cooking a meal on a sandwich press in the lounge area near the reception. When we asked the receptionist if this was allowed she said no, but the guest was booked in for 10 days and had done it previously, and there was nothing she could do, she had asked for security from the neighbouring Dorma properties but no one came to help. The management have a duty of care firstly to the young receptionist and the other guests it is a fire hazard.and extremely unpleasant for an area designed as a relaxation space. Lift your game Dorma."
