Casey's Beach Veterinary Clinic
About the Business
Welcome to Casey's Beach Veterinary Clinic, located at Batehaven, Beach Road, 394. As a trusted establishment and point of interest in the veterinary care industry, we strive to provide top-notch care for your beloved pets.
In response to the increasing stress in the veterinary industry, we have made the decision to close the clinic and switch off our phones for one hour per day. This break, between 12 and 1pm on weekdays, allows our dedicated staff to efficiently complete procedures and take much-needed breaks. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to plan accordingly.
Our highly qualified and animal-loving veterinary team is dedicated to keeping your pets happy and healthy. From preventatives, vaccinations, and routine surgeries to advanced services like X-ray, ultrasound, and blood tests, we offer a comprehensive range of veterinary care.
At Casey's Beach Veterinary Clinic, our goal is to enhance the quality of your pet's life. As pet owners ourselves, we understand the special bond you share with your furry companions, and we are here to help you nurture that bond.
Our team consists of three experienced veterinarians. Dr. Sean Harrison, our Head Vet and practice owner, specializes in soft-tissue surgeries, ultrasonography, and orthopaedic conditions. Dr. Amelia Perry-Powell has a special interest in companion animal behavior, medicine, and surgery, and is our resident "cat vet". Dr. Sonja Heinemann's special interests include integrative/holistic medicine, canine behavior, and nutrition. We are also excited to welcome Dr. Lauren Mannion, our newest addition, who is dedicated to providing the best care for your pets.
As a small and close-knit team, we take pride in getting to know our clients and their pets. Whether your furry friends have fur, feathers, or scales, we are here to provide personalized care and support. From birth to old age, we are committed to caring for your pets through every stage of their lives.
In addition to our veterinary services, we offer Puppy Preschool and Doggy Daycare for your canine companions. These programs provide socialization opportunities and help your furry friends grow into well-rounded and happy dogs.
At Casey's Beach Veterinary Clinic, we also have long-standing relationships with rescue organizations, where we treat injured and orphaned wildlife, as well as companion animals through our work with the RSPCA and the Animal Welfare League.
Our team of vet nurses plays a crucial role in providing excellent care for your pets. Christine, our Head Vet Nurse, has a special interest in wildlife, exotics, and assisting with ultrasonography, radiology, and pathology. Meg, another Veterinary Nurse, specializes in wildlife and avian nursing, client and patient care, and assisting in surgeries. Jenni-Lee, with her love for Guinea Pigs, brings years of nursing experience and a warm and positive attitude to the team. Melissa, our vet nurse student, is passionate about all animals and is eager to utilize her knowledge and skills to assist in animal health. Claire, another Veterinary Nurse, has a special interest in animal behavior and psychology, and is always ready to lend a helping hand to animals in need.
And let's not forget about Sesame, our clinic cat, quality control officer, and patient comforter. Sesame ensures that all patients are greeted with warmth, whether it be in the clinic or the car park. He diligently tests the comfort and warmth of the hospital beds and occasionally selects bags of food to open and test for freshness.
We are excited to announce that we now stock the Delicate Care range of dog and cat foods. This Australian-made range uses locally sourced ingredients and is hypoallergenic, incorporating novel proteins such as lamb, kangaroo, duck, and salmon. By offering this food, we aim to help our patients look and feel better while giving owners peace of mind about the quality and origin of their pet's food.

Thank you for choosing Casey's Beach Veterinary Clinic. We look forward to providing exceptional care for your furry family members and strengthening the bond you share with them.

"Chook got the best of care. The Dr was gentle kind and informative. Always impressed by their dedication and compassion to even the smallest family member"
"We recently lost our biggest fur baby, from first diagnosis with Dr. Sean then to our last couple of hours with our girl and with Dr. Lauren. I cannot thank them all enough for the love, support and help we received during it all. I cannot recommend you all any higher. Continue to be the best vets in Batemans bay & surrounds Thankyou, Nicole, Luke & Kaya"
"Had our mini poodle in for some teeth work. Excellent service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this vet."
"We called Casey’s beach vet after hours the night before a public holiday. Amelia was fantastic and saw us right away, helped our fur baby and put our minds at ease. Thank you very much"
"Could not speak more highly of the services received. I arrived unannounced, my fur baby was seen immediately, and I was given all the time I needed to say my goodbyes to my beautiful Ziva. I was not rushed and my fur baby was treated with dignity and respect before, during and after my girl crossed the rainbow bridge. I would highly recommend Casey's Beach vet to everyone. Thank you for your patience, understanding and compassion."
