"“Emergency” room!! What a joke!! I had to wait for hours for my 2 year old with injured wrist! And then we left without seeing a doctor and getting any treatment because looks like no one was seeing us on purpose. There were people who arrived after us with much less severity and they got seen. Not just one but many! When I went to see and ask the triage nurses how more we need to wait, they said they couldn’t do anything and there were 3 more patients before us!! But there were no one around! And when I said if it was me, I wouldn’t have said anything but it’s a child I’m talking about. I got frustrated and left the front desk and they were laughing loudly with each other! If you can’t help then don’t laugh!! Who will be responsible if we keep waiting with the Injury for no good reason and it gets worse for the little one!! Waited for 3 hours and left crying because no one will listen to me. May be you are laughing now but May be one day you will Understand when you will be crying and your child needs help, but no one will help you. I’m sure no one from the hospital will read this comment and give a damn. Because we are helpless and can’t do anything. Now we are home and the little one is still in pain. May be we will have to call 000 and see if we get any help or if there’s a waiting time there as well."
"Our visit to the emergency department was great. Wait time to get to a bed was a little long as it was busy. However everyone was attentive and we were doing relevant tests from the waiting room. Once admitted it was smooth sailing, with great service. I had the required operation within 24 hrs and the nurses and registrars were top notch."
