"I took my kids to beach and stopped off at the Bay Fish Shop, I noticed it was taken over by new and MUCH nicer owners! Even more better they family owned business. The staff was super friendly and caring and understanding for my children!. The service was so quick and food was cooked perfectly. Amazing chicken salt too!. We was able to sit and eat in shop. I honestly won’t go anywhere else. The menu has lots of different options. 100% worth the hour drive every time!. Stop in you won’t be disappointed!."
"Its a classic fish and chip shop with a huge amount of family atmosphere! They had run out of potato scallops which my wife lives as she doesnt like seafood, the amazing lady made some just for us and they were amazing! I dont know why this place has low rating its very well worth it!"
"Finally got service after the person got off his phone, the fish and potato fritters were absolutely greasy, fritters were psper thin and very small, the Bay fish shop has obviously changed hands for the worst. Will never go there again. Mal. The response from the "Owner" Your "son" was not the only one there, as another person soon (5 minutes) appeared from the rear of the shop, who seemed to have more experience. the 1st person obviously does not know how to multi task by taking multiply orders at the same time. that place use to be a thriving business, the way its going you could be out of business very quickly. The paper thin scallops, hard and very small, was unbelievable, very sad experience."
"Fish and chips tasty but missing lemon which is usually expected to be included. Cool that it’s wrapped up in paper old fashion style. Fish wasn’t skinned which was unexpected but it tasted good. Like someone else said, it’s good but could be more polished ."
