"Weeip Park in Midland is a fantastic park that offers a wide range of activities and amenities for visitors of all ages. The park is beautifully landscaped, with lush green spaces and well-maintained walking paths. There is a large playground for children, with fun and interactive equipment that is perfect for kids to run and play on. The picnic areas are spacious and equipped with plenty of tables making it a great place to spend a sunny afternoon with family and friends. The park is also home to several sporting fields, providing ample space for games and recreation. My son's favourite is basketball court and oval where they play tag, soccer, and running. There are CCTVs every corner which make it safer even at night. The thing that I don't like is the new public toilet which ruined by some the irresponsible people. Overall, Weeip Park in Midland is an excellent place to visit and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing outdoor experience."
"I am actually passed by ths park many times, but didn't relaxing here even once. The photo is taken from a quiet road near here."
"The slide isn't very safe, really steep going down and it kicks you out hard onto mulch. Looks like it's built from industrial water pipe and a heap of other heavy metals. Not to mention the ridiculous heat it gives off in summer - turns into an oven. The park over all looks okay, but become boring fast. As you see when you drive past, no one is really using it."
"Great little park for little ones to get their energy out. Also has a basketball court hidden behind a big wall and a climbing wall. Has lots of little spots to sit and read also and a big grass space for ballgames. Only down side is these the play ground itself has a few issues. There’s no wheelchair or pram access. The slides are made from metal so it gets very hot very fast. And the big drop slide doesn’t have a long end part so you land on the sand. My husband had hurt his back as the slid onto the sand and hit his back on the end of the slide. Everything else was great."
