"We had a great time but definitely not a luxury stay. My husband and kids booked a package for a night with spa, dinner and breakfast for my 50th. We were greeted through the screen door by a girl that wasn't even expecting us, even though we were the only couple there for the night. The spa was amazing except for the constant barking of dogs while trying to relax and dinner was delicious though expensive, $100 voucher won't cover it. The pool area is not maintained, granted it's winter but you are offering it up as a sitting area then put some care into in to it. The apartment it's self was beautiful but TV and radio not working and very old movies and CDs as alternative, dishwasher not working(apparently for 6 years looking at reviews)and a half used moisturiser bottle left in the bathroom. Woken up at midnight with footsteps in heels and doors slamming, guessing from the main house. Breakfast was okay except for the toaster not being plugged in and trying to find the cord then nothing to spread on our crumpets, knocked on the office door at 8.45am, barking dogs but no answer. I guess the owners are concentrating more on weddings and overnight stays are just a hobby. When we tried to mention these concerns the next morning, it felt like we were being rushed out as she was busy, when my daughter called to discuss, all they remembered we said is that we had an amazing time. Don't recommend as an overnight package. Btw ... the horses and gardens are beautiful."
"We stayed in the lovely Lakeside Apartment on the Brookleigh Estate and had a couples massage at the Brookleigh Day Spa. Our experience was amazing. We loved the apartment and the massage was incredible. I could see it would be a lovely venue for wedding or party. Definitely recommend this to others."

"Hubbie and I went for New Year last year, we felt like we where intruding on the owners family NYE party. That was happening by the pool right next to the room we were in. We wanted to sit outside by the pool and have a few drinks on New Years Eve Evening, but felt uncomfortable doing so. Shame because the accommodation was quite nice and in a lovely spot."
"Poorly maintained units. For a high quality stay we were disappointed. The following items did not work; fridge, dishwasher, lights and the premises were not cleaned well, party due to the leftover chicken that was not removed from the microwave. These units (only 2) are clearly just a hobby of the owner of the place and unfortunately they don't put too much love in them."
