"Great little store for travelling gear, though also a good place to get gear for daily life. Basically New Zealand's version of Patagonia/The North Face. This particular store is a bit small, but stocks a lot of the essentials and has friendly staff who are willing to help out. Main reason it isn't 5 stars is mostly due to Kathmandu failing to offer certain items that would compete with online offerings (meaning, if you come here to stock up for a trip you will still likely need to order some items from online). But this store and the staff here are great. Thanks guys! Note that all good travel gear is kinda expensive. You will be paying hundreds for a quality puffer jacket, for example, but it's worth it if it's in your price range."
"Really friendly helpful staff. They have some great specials on and most of their clothing are made using natural materials where possible. Bought some cotton trousers and a cardigan and are very comfortable. Also appreciate the nice gesture of offering a paper bag without any cost."
