"Great place for the weekend. The touch of Irish with their kilkenny and guinness was awesome. Really love the barramundi, veal schnitzel and the parmigiana. The portion of the barramundi could have been better. Easy fix would be with mashed sweet potatoes. The broccolinies were perfect. The sweet potato gray was very light and savoury. The atmosphere was very warm but a little too loud downstairs. But upstairs it was perfect."
"Went to the National Hotel Roof Top Bar for a few quick drinks and nibbles on Sunday and it was amazing. We ended up spending most of the afternoon there The weather was beautiful not cold or windy just a lovely Sunny day perfect for a few drinks and a chat. The ladies had a variety of cocktails to choose from which they loved and the guys had a large range of flavoursome beers to try Then a picking plate full of different snacks was enough for us to switch off and enjoy the spectacular 360 degree view of Fremantle and just chill out If your looking for a perfect spot to relax on the week end this is it. What a completely different view of this vibrant town. One group of our friends spent a weekend in the completely renovated hotel accommodation and said it was unreal they loved the place and like us thought the staff were terrific. Well done everyone but your hidden secret is out there for all to enjoy Trev"
"Didn't stay in a room but had a meal in the roof top bar area. Food was great, service friendly and a wonderful view. Loved the little kiosk where the drinks were prepared. Cocktails are available and looked inviting. There's a lift from the ground floor to the roof as well as stairs. We'd just arrived from a Melbourne winter and we delighted in sitting on the sunny terrace, eating, drinking, and listening to some great music. Thoroughly recommended."
"Good pub. Friendly service. Live music. Great atmosphere and a couple of different options. The open air beer garden upstairs and the dance floor and sport tvs downstairs. Normally great but last time the bathrooms made me dry reach from the smell - I know it's the patrons that caused it but would of been nice to have to serviced and cleaned more often."
