"Breakfast need more variety than just toast and yoghurt. Seriously it's not even breakfast. Where is my bacon and eggs. For what I paid for two nights. The room was so small and there is No where to sit apart from the bed. Bathroom has no privacy. Seriously don't stay here. The location is good."

"I recently stayed at the Hougoumont Hotel, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable. However, I should note that the cabin rooms are quite small, which could be a concern for some guests. If you plan to just sleep and spend most of your time exploring the city, these cozy rooms should be sufficient. For our next stay, we will consider booking one of their larger rooms for added comfort and space. Despite the size of the cabin rooms, the Hougoumont Hotel offers a great stay, and the warm and welcoming staff contribute to a positive experience. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a clean and cozy place to stay in Fremantle."

"This place is full of surprises! Staff members were all very friendly and helpful.Even though the room is small, it's got everything we need for an overnight stay. The room is spotless clean. We got a free welcome beer and cheese platter between 5 to 6. Breakfast is simple but healthy, especially the home-made jams. The owner Marcus dropped in and gave everyone a lolly and said ' Here's a lolly to make your day sweeter !' How cute! lol. Also learned a few things about the history of the last boat bringing convicts to Australia.Thank you so much.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
