Nick Scali Furniture

"I purchased a Karma TV unit (Order No: WC15950) nearly 3 years back from this store. The furniture is really good but unfortunately my son had a bit of an accident and as a result one of the hinge malfunctioned. When contacted, the company for a replacement part which I was happy to pay for, they were not even able to provide me that service since the furniture is out of warranty. I understand Nick Scalli doesn't stock spare parts but as a responsible company registered on ASX I would have atleast expected them to assist the customer to source the correct spare part. Now I need to spend $200 to fix this issue when it could have been a DIY job easily resolved with a replacement hinge. To make things worse they were not even willing to assist the customer. Therefore my message to future customers is that buy Nick Scalli furniture if you only care about service during the warranty period. Beyond that do not expect any kind of assistance or support from this company. I am pretty sure there are other responsible funiture shops that can provide much better after sales service and support. Please choose wisely as I do not want other people to make the same mistake as me."

"Shocked to receive a message at 2:15pm today demanding our final balance to be paid but website wont work, the accounts team has gone home (Eastern States based) and the stores aren't near to me/open after I finish work. I'm guessing that my order is now going to be cancelled despite the deposit and waiting 16 weeks for delivery. Very upset with this situation."

"Hard to give a star rating! We found the shop great. Already expected the massive lead-time so not a problem. They have great furniture. Then it comes to the Distribution Centre. Absolute nightmare to deal with. The rules are so ridged makes almost impossible to deal with. 15 calls to the call centre! Found links not working so have to hang on the phone for 30 mins before you get to speak to anyone. No direct number to the shop either. Due to this we will NEVER purchase from Nick Scali again, it's just not worth the hassle and plenty of other stores to take your cash. Poor show for a company in this time of customer focus."

"Very nice shopping ambiente with good light, space and not too packed. Professional sales team. Modern design, good materials and lot of customisation possible. I understand the idea of not arguing any discount on top, but should have a fixed staged discounted table climbing with turnover to incentive buying more in one order. As well it would be fair like other stores to guarantee to match lowest own price within 30 days after purchase, as the uncertainty leads to not ordering now but monitoring over some time. Technically there might be reasons as of different subsuppliers not to offer one 5year warranty pack on mixed items like sofa of one type plus armchair of another type, but paying basically double in this case and not customer centric. Old fashion order forms and no electronic workflow, probably as of unstable product delivery process in backend. Would be 4 stars in total but I round up to 5 to hope they improve."
