"I went with my 4 year old daughter after going for a swim at the hotel we were staying at, (I'm saying this because we were very underdressed, haha). She requested sushi, and this place was the closest. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. They altered a dish for my daughter so it wouldn't have sesame seeds, and were so lovely when she accidentally spilled her pineapple juice on the table. Straight away they saw that it happened and brought over napkins to help. They brought over a new glass with ice, and eased my anxiety over it. The sushi was great. My daughter ate nearly her entire dish, and I devoured mine. My only criticism is how tiny the salmon and asparagus skewer was that I ordered. It was $9 for one, and it just didn't taste extraordinary for the price."
"WARNING PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME I went there for dinner tonight for the ALL YOU CAN EAT Tuesday special. It was the most disappointing and terrible experience I have had. I arrived at 6:30PM for the booking I made while I waited for my friends who arrived 10 minutes later. As we are mostly big eaters, we ordered 2 serves of scallop nigiris each during out first order. The waiter noted that down, but then the old manager lady wearing brown (who was standing nearby) whispered to him to tell us that they ran out of scallops. At 6:40PM they apparently had no scallops left, obviously it was a lie as I would watch them serve other tables scallops later on. From that point I had my doubts about the how the rest of the dining experience would go if you could even call it that. The first order came, I noticed the slices of fish were already quite thin compared other sushi restaurants but I was still trying my best to ignore the fact. After the second order came out I had lost my appetite, the rice was undercooked as it was slightly hard in the middle. We were also told they have ran out of "SALMON" at 7:20PM. It was truly a blessing in disguise as the fish slices were even thinner this time. So thin in-fact that it was breaking apart and see through. The waiters and waitresses were fine but old lady manager really knows how to ruin a dinner night out with friends. The best part was, after she told us they had "ran out" of scallop and salmon they were serving a sashimi platter (that had scallop and salmon) to another table. Just before serving it the old lady manager took her phone out to take a photo of it, I would assume to post about how good it looked. Meanwhile we were served something as despicable as this."
"This place was personally underwhelming and the food did not taste like authentic Japanese food, although aesthetically they looked great. Even the sushi is hit and miss with no taste of rice vinegar in the Nigiri. The Teriyaki beef, which would be fairly difficult to get wrong, was also not right - too sickly sweet."
"Came here for lunch with some mates who wanted sushi. It's not something I eat but I gave it a go. Everything looked super appealing. Some tasted better than others but it's all subjective. Service was quick and friendly. A variety of options on the menu. Ample parking. Nice ambience. The platters shown were shared between four people and were plentiful."
