Our founder, Dr Dalton, grew up in the US surrounded by a variety of animals, including two sulfur-crested cockatoos. His lifelong dream was to become a veterinarian, which he achieved in 2012. Dr Dalton purchased the practice in 2019 and has dedicated himself to staying up to date with the latest research-based medicine and surgery practices. He has a special interest in bird and exotics animal medicine, as well as ultrasonography.

At home, Dr Dalton has quite the menagerie, including a dog, two cats, a galah, a corella, and a Stimson python. All of these animals were initially unwanted or lost pets but are now loved members of his family.

Dr Chloe, another valued member of our team, graduated from Murdoch University in 2010. She has experience in small animal practice, wildlife rehabilitation, and emergency and critical care medicine. Dr Chloe has a particular interest in emergency medicine and surgery. She recently completed her Memberships to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2018 for Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Chloe joined us after working at a mixed veterinary practice in rural Victoria for over 12 years. She is charismatic, personable, and dedicated to meeting your needs. She is also expecting her second child later this year.

Finally, we have Kylie, the longest standing and most organized member of our team. She plays a vital role in keeping our hospital running smoothly. You may often see her with her anxious little friend Hiro the Jack Russell Terrier.
