"Lucas the store manager is incredibly rude and has no idea about consumer rights what so ever. Got a faulty product that cloud 9 knew was an existing problem and refused to refund me. Apparently the below isn't true according to Lucas. You have the right to ask for a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees regime. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product: is faulty doesn't match the sample or demo model doesn't match the description doesn't do what the salesperson said doesn't do what you asked for. What type of problem is it? Major problems with products cannot be fixed, or cannot be fixed in a reasonable time. Where there is a major problem, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement. A major problem is where the product: has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it is significantly different from the sample, description or demonstration model doesn't do what you asked for or what it is normally supposed to do, and this problem cannot be easily fixed is unsafe."
