"Came in today for lunch and got the waffle and my partner got the chicken parmy which he said was okay but the small amount wasnt worth the price. The waffle was hard and chewy and soggy on the other side life it was freezer burnt and just microwaved. Could barely chew it and didn't even eat all of it since it was so soggy. And before we even got our food I noticed the table was sticky and I have hand sanitiser on hand and cleaned it myself and it was gross and looked like it'd never been properly cleaned. The staff also just sayed behind the counter talking most of the time and having worked in hospitality myself i always know you shouldn't be standing there and if there's no one ordering or drinks to make you clean tables and windows and considering how dirty my table was and the windows near me i dpubt they do that. Safe to say I miss the cafe 63 and the atmosphere of it and won't be going back there."
"I walked into to a drab looking Bistro, only to be surprissed at the quality of the food. The steak sandwich and the fish were very good and the desserts didn't dissapoint. Ben was very helpful and only to happy to answer our questions. Apparently the drabness is going to change for the better soon. Definitely will return. Cheers"
"Ordered French toast. It was as described, not setting the world on fire but it was sufficient. Coffee was good and I prefer strong coffees. Everything came out same time and in a reasonable amount of time. As others have described, the atmosphere is dull and could benefit from some music. Our experience was somewhat improved by watching some bogans blowing up…brunch and a show."
"No atmosphere, the staff that were on could barely understand English and no surprise the order wasn’t right when it came. The rest of the order was delivered in stages, not all together. The fish and chips, or hard batter with chips was very poor. Won’t be back and will be surprised if it last a year. In my opinion. Only 1 star as I couldnt go any lower."
"We had a really average experience here over the weekend. I believe this restaurant has just changed hands, and may be experiencing some teething issues? The coffee was so weak, all I could taste was warm milk. My bacon was very undercooked - it was still cold. We did let the staff know at the time, and they took my plate back to the kitchen and fixed the bacon issue, but did not offer an apology. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t eat here again."
