Goldsborough Place Apartments 39 Vernon Terrace, Teneriffe, Queensland 4005

"Dodgy "serviced" apartments. Provided me a room where the entrance door to their apartment wasn't able to lock and no staff members work at front desk to assist apparently. When I sent an email they suggested a maintenance person go to my apartment while I wasn't there, then later explained they actually have a weird lock system which needs to be explained so guests know how to lock their own apartment door room, which sounds like a dodgy excuse to attempt to take advantage of people. Forgot my key in my apartment today, and when I called, they said I'd have to pay them $110 for them to go there and assist me as they won't be here all weekend. Today is Friday. They shouldn't be allowed to run a place without any staff members at all there. Zero empathy from Michael, who appatently runs the place...or doesn't run the place, from what I can see. Paid for a nice stay in Teneriffe with nice river views, and staff here have zero respect for guests. Maybe it's time they turned things around and sort their behaviour and stop being unreasonable and unreliable towards guests who have actually paid to stay at their "serviced" apartments."

"That view! This was such a great place to stay, with ample parking and incredible river views. Coffee shops and plenty of restaurants nearby. The facilities were all great, and the staff were wonderful and allowed us to check out late which was so kind. The WiFi worked very well and the bed was very comfortable. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars is because the washing machine flooded the bathroom when we used it, perhaps a hose was undone or a drain was blocked? I assume they have repaired it now though."

"We have stayed here twice now and both times we have been extremely happy. Nice, tidy apartments with everything you would need for a trip away. This year we were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment from a two bedroom apartment and absolutely loved it. The management team were great and attentive. We checked in late Friday afternoon and they responded to our issue and had it resolved within the hour. Perfect outlook overlooking the river and very big and spacious apartments. Note that each apartment is privately owned so some owners may be more responsive then others when it comes to repairs but the management will always put in 110%. Great place to stay during the Teneriffe festival as well. We will definitely be back next year!!!"

"This is an amazing property. It is clean, peaceful and a great location right on the river. I love that it is safe for a single woman to walk around the neighborhood and on the river walk. There are good restaurants next door and across the street. The washer/dryer are very helpful for business travelers. It is a wonderful family destination also. "We had rented a 3 bedroom apartment for our wedding ceremony for a very small number of family members to attend. The ceremony was on the lovely balcony overlooking the Brisbane river - it was perfect. We had cocktails in the unit which had plenty of room to accommodate us all. We also had a few swims in the large pool over the days we stayed there. It was extremely comfortable and clean and we had everything that we required. Highly recommended."
