Better Place Australia has made this case worse, because they are only willing to listen to the elders perspective who is controlled by the son, the abuser, who has 'undue influence'. Better Place Australia are not willing to talk to the one's trying to protect against elder abuse. It is remarkable they get government funding for this."

"Waste Of Time And Money My advise to anyone considering their services, don’t! Better Place Australia or at least those of which I’ve had dealings with have left me and many others baffled time after time. There services were engaged to mediate conversation following the four step process as they call it, of which worked outside of the scope of any consent order and therefore would require lawyers to finalise therefore making their services, mediation notes, money spent and the time wasted on it null and void and by all indications this has been done intentionally. But yet, we persisted having to mutually battle the mediators bias interjections so that a consent order could be drafted of which was immediately followed by the mediator going on holidays for two months with no replacement or follow up appointments. Furthermore upon requesting an interim mediator to continue discussions as originally planned, we were instead informed that the management team of better place australia had deemed it unsuitable to continue mediation of any description refusing to provide an explanation for the decision knowing full well they’d be cutting off the only form of communication between both parties rendering all services to date to be a complete waste of time."

They also cancelled appointments with no notification and sent out letters stating that someone did not show up when they did. Communicated to other party that they didnt show up when they were sitting in the office waiting. Stay clear of them if you want professional mediation."
