"My 11yo son had dental surgery recently and the service was excellent! Particularly Nurse Imelda in recovery was incredible. After such a long day, she was compassionate, funny and very thorough. Thank you Nurse Imelda x"
"We dont have a very good experience here. My 20 months old went in for oral surgery. She didnt wake up from anaesthetic very well, she was having a melt down and uncontrollable. I find the nurse who was in charge of her in recovery room very rude. She asked me to hold my daughter properly by saying " you are a mum arent you? do you give her a cuddle at home, do you?" and when i asked her whether my daughter can have something to eat she responded rudely by saying " She just came out from a surgery! why do you want her to eat, it will make her vomit!" As a result, my daughter was having a melt down, i was also having a melt down. i was in tears. As a first time mum, it is already stressful enough to see your child waking up like that after an operation. She then called up my husband to the recovery room, and because he was waiting outside while using his phone, she said "Dad, i dont want you to play with your phone ok" We just found lack of compassion there. However, Other nurses were very kind. So instead of 1 star i would give 2 stars as credit to other staff members who have been nice to us."
"Our whole family comes here for their regular endoscopy reviews. Delightful nurses like Cynthia and Lisa make a not so pleasant process, less stressful. The hospital is scrupulously clean and easy parking is a bonus."
"I’m not sure if Covid has changed things since our last visit (we had no problems during our 2017 visit) but my 6 year old daughter was rushed out of recovery and out of the hospital within an hour of her surgery. I was told to shake her awake from her anaesthetic, sit her in a chair and make her bed at an icy pole (her eyes were still closed) then the nurses kept asking why she was crying!!! I have never experienced such a lack of compassion for a child who has just has surgery. I had to carry my daughter out as she still couldn’t see properly as she still hasn’t come round from her anaesthetic. Never experienced anything like it. Not sure if they are trying to get one patient out before the next one comes out of surgery due to Covid??"
"My son (6yo) had some dental work done here today. The nurses and reception staff are amazing. Nurse Jackie took such good care of him, and me, and went above and beyond to ensure he was safe and happy. Thank you to all that helped us today."
