Welcome to Judhar Vet Group, a leading establishment in veterinary care located in the heart of Hawthorne, Brisbane. Since its humble beginnings in 1994, Judhar has grown into a group of ten privately owned small animal clinics across the greater Brisbane area.

Founded and directed by husband-and-wife team Andrew Beattie and Dr Judy Harbison, Judhar is a testament to their passion and dedication to the veterinary industry. Both Andrew and Judy graduated from the prestigious University of Queensland, with degrees in Agricultural Science and Veterinary Science respectively.

The practices within the Judhar group have been acquired from experienced veterinarians, ensuring that they are established and constantly updated to provide a pleasant environment for our staff, clients, and patients. Our clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest advancements in veterinary technology.

Andrew, with his background in commercial rural banking, manages the financial side of the business, while also being a partner in a family dairy farm in South East Queensland. In his spare time, he coaches rugby union, showcasing his commitment to both his profession and community.

Judy, following in her father's footsteps, pursued a career as a Veterinary Surgeon. With a special interest in Surgery, she purchased Bulimba Vet Surgery in 1994, which marked the beginning of the Judhar journey. Judy's dedication to the field led her to complete an MBA in 2013, further enhancing her understanding of veterinary practice and optimizing the services offered to pets, their owners, and our teams. She also serves as a director of a not-for-profit organization called CVLC, which operates a de-sexing and micro-chipping clinic at the Logan Pound.

In addition to their professional achievements, Judy and Andrew are proud parents of three children, accompanied by their energetic Burmese cat named Flower and their boisterous standard poodle named Badger.

Situated in the vibrant city of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, Judhar Vet Group is conveniently located within a 15-minute drive of the majority of the south side of the city. We also have a clinic in Strathpine, catering to the needs of Brisbane's northside.
